Il debutto di Lee Isaac Chung è il racconto di un genocidio ambientato in Rwanda, una piccola storia - girata in 11 giorni con attori non professionisti - che racconta la guerra civile del 1994 in Rwanda.
Deux adolescents quittent Kigali, capitale du Rwanda. L'un (Sangwa) veut retrouver ses racines, passer quelques jours dans la maison familiale désertée depuis trois ans, puis suivre son ami (Munyurangabo) qui l'accompagne avant d'aller venger la mort de ses parents tués lors du génocide. La suite de l'intrigue est liée à la manière dont ce film a été élaboré.
