Sono state annunciate oggi le nomination della 77esima edizione degli Emmy Awards. A proclamare le candidature Harvey Guillen e Brenda Song.

Tra tutte le serie in lizza spicca la seconda stagione di Scissione (prodotta e diretta - per 5 episodi - da Ben Stiller) che ha conquistato ben 27 candidature con il suo racconto della nostra paradossale quotidianità.

La serie con Adam Scott è seguita dallo spin-off di Batman The Penguin, che ha ottenuto 24 candidature, e da The Studio e dalla terza stagione di The White Lotus che hanno ottenuto entrambe 23 nomination. Tra le serie Netflix invece citiamo Adolescence che con la storia drammatica di un ragazzo che viene accusato dell'omicidio di un compagno di scuola, ha conquistato 13 nomination. 

Inaspettate sono arrivate anche un buon numero di nomination per Monsters - La storia di Lyle Ed Erik Menendez  (11) e Black Mirror che ne ha ottenute 10.

La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà al Peacock Theater di Los Angeles nella notte tra il 14 e il 15 settembre e verrà presentata dallo stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze.
