Il montatore pluri-candidato all'Oscar Saar Klein debutta alla regia di questo film, incentrato su una coppia sposata, interpretata da Bentley e dalla Shaw. La vita del marito finisce nel caos quando, dopo aver perso il lavoro, incontra un'estranea che lo induce a commettere un crimine in suo onore. Isaacs interpreterà un detective.
