Lenny è un trentaquattrenne solitario e triste; arriva finalmente per lui il momento di passare due settimane con i suoi due figli, Sage e Frey. In difficoltà nel ruolo di padre, più a suo agio in quello di amico, Lenny spera che le due settimane sembrino mesi; decide così di intraprendere con loro un viaggio a nord dello stato di New York, incontrando strani personaggi e riflettendo sul suo ruolo di padre.

Scrambling through his own life like a human incarnation of Godard's "Breathless," the protagonist of the terrifyingly funny independent feature "Daddy Longlegs" makes his living as a movie theater projectionist in Manhattan. Played by Ronald Bronstein, Lenny is a moth as well as a flame, a havoc generator with unlimited, unfocused energy and a staggering lack of reliable parental instincts.
