Il regista Oren Jacoby porta alla luce nel suo documentario il coinvolgimento del cristianesimo nell'anti-semitismo, risalendo fino all'impero di Costantino. Basato sul best-seller di James Carroll, ex prete cattolico dimessosi dall'ordine, la pellicola segue l'intenso percorso di Carroll, partendo dalle basi militari americane dove il cristianesimo viene "imposto" ai cadetti, una pratica che di fatto mette spalle al muro chiunque profetizzi una differente religione, in particolare modo l'ebraismo, per arrivare al Vecchio Continente e in particolare al Vaticano dove risale alla nascita di tale fenomeno.
