A Foggy Reunion With Horror’s Master

STEPHEN KING likes to joke that Frank Darabont, the director of “The Shawshank Redemption” and “The Green Mile,” has made a specialty not just of Stephen King movies but of Stephen King prison movies. You could argue that Mr. Darabont’s new film, “The Mist,” based on the King novella of that title, is in the same vein. The difference is that the characters are holed up not in a penitentiary but in a supermarket.
