A poignant and thought- provoking docufilm about three freedom fighters. The multi layered narrative gives us insight to what drives these young men to go and fight for the Syrian population. We see the hardship of their conditions and the fighting ,we follow them in their everyday lives we enter their homes and see their friends ,we sympathize and we even disapprove but we are totally drawn into their stories. They are not depicted as heroes but just ordinary young men touched by the Syrian plight .Never predictable the tension is palpable and we just don't want their stories to end. The music is also beautiful...An eye opener which leaves the spectator wanting for more , a rarity given the topic!
