Un film straordinario, dalla colonna sonora alla fotografia, dai giochi di luce/ombra al cast (un Ryan Gosling spaventosamente freddo-psicopatico-carico di emozioni), dalla regia alla trama.
Riporto un commento letto su youtube al proposito perchè racchiude gran parte dell'essenza stessa di questo capolavoro:
"For me, this movie was a profound experience. Ryan Gosling's character was so wonderfully lost, drifting from experience to experience. Reacting to his environment without questioning why it had come to be, reminded me of the behavior of a young child. His brief connection with Carey Mulligan's character reminded me that sometimes a person can see the real essence of your soul, even when you can't. This experience cannot be explained with words, but being seen in this way will change your life."
