'Heartbreaker' has no soul

French romantic comedies almost never make it to the United States, because they tend to be beyond-belief awful. But "Heartbreaker" was an enormous hit this year, and on the strength of that success it arrives here. Alas, it turns out to be just as bad as any routine French romantic comedy - illogical, inconsistent and sloppily written, a charmless, tasteless, witless waste of time.
