In 'Skate Kitchen,' a Tight-Knit Group of Girls Takes In a Newcomer

The teenage Camille (Rachelle Vinberg) doesn't look like much of a shredder in the opening scene of "Skate Kitchen," a fiction feature directed by Crystal Moselle, whose documentary "The Wolfpack" made a big splash with indie aficionados in 2015. Boarding at a small park in her neighborhood, Camille, plainly dressed and wearing eyeglasses, takes a tumble attempting a tricky maneuver and bloodies up her leg and shorts.
