Synopsis - The next time you want to organize a birthday party for your child, think about it!
Being parents is truly the most difficult job in the world, even the healthiest and mostbalanced people find themselves gripped by a constant sense of inadequacy, drivenby performance anxiety, by the stress of the looming gaze of others. For Simona,convinced that she is doing her best, organizing the birthday party for her Filippo'seight years will prove to be an opportunity to reevaluate and question all her beliefs,building a relation with other types of parents. While the children play in the livingroom entertained, the grown-ups meet in the kitchen and receive a study on eachother, hiding behind the usual sterile pleasantries. Between too apprehensive, tooalternative, too vegan or too intellectual parents, extravagant requests and littlesecrets, Filippo's party will take a completely unexpected turn. An uncomfortable andfun comedy that portrays single irony, modern families and a new generation of parents with irony.

Director's Biography and Filmography - Graduated in theoretical philosophy at the State University of Milan, she paralleled the mimodrama school of the Arsenale theater in Milan and worked as an attraction with the Egumteatro company. As an author and musician registered a recording project, Eyeliner, obtaining an editorial contract with Bmg Ricordi. He works on Radio Popolare and at the Galleria d'Arte delle Ore in Milan, as well as writing as a film critic. From the union of these experiences, the passion for directing begins. He works in cinema and advertising as producer and assistant director both in Italy and abroad. His first short films, self-produced, obtain recognition in Italian and international festivals. Since 2003 he starts his career as a director of advertising, video clips, short films and documentaries working with all the main causes of Italian production. His first feature film, Dieci Minuti sul Palco, an independent film released in theaters in 2013, won results of recognition by the public and critics.
