Il lago Urmia, nel nord dell'Iran, era un tempo il più grande lago del Medio Oriente. L'influenza umana ha portato ad una siccità devastante che il lago non ha potuto resistere. Oggi rimane solo il 5% del lago originale.
Lake Urmia in Northern Iran was once the largest lake in the Middle East. Human influence set brought upon a devastating drought that the lake could not withstand. Today, just 5% of the original lake remains.
