In un Agosto particolarmente caldo, l'ingegner Marletti lascia la città deserta e tranquilla e si immerge nel caos delle città romagnole, dove la moglie è in vacanza. Durante il fine settimana, l'ingegnere, invece di rilassarsi, è preso dalla frenetica e assurda attività della gente in vacanza.
On a particularly hot August, engineer Marletti leaves the deserted and quiet city and plunges into the chaos of the cities of Romagna, where his wife is on vacation. During the weekend, the engineer, instead of relaxing, is caught up in the frenetic and absurd activity of people on vacation.
