Noi Siamo Tutto

The film is about Madeline a teenager who spends her days mainly in front of the computer, a tool she uses to study and review the countless books that are given to her by her mother and Cara, the nurse who takes care of her. Due to the impossibility of exposing oneself to the outside world, she becomes very imaginative. Most of the scenes in the film, in fact, were shot inside a large house characterized by equally large windows, which allow the protagonist to travel with the mind outside of them.
Maddy's habits, however, are soon modified by the knowledge of Olly, her new neighbor. The two manage to communicate through the windows by writing to each other messages on them. In the same way they can also exchange telephone numbers and, thanks to long chats through emails and messages, their relationship grows more and more.
The story takes a turn when Maddy, feeling oppressed by her mother's countless rules, decides to run away from home to spend a few days on the Hawaina island with Olly.
The dynamics of the events leave you in suspense until the totally unexpected end of the film, but this decision by the author of the film does not make it boring at all, rather it increases the desire to find out how the story ends.
The relationship between mother and daughter also emerges, the first of which carries numerous pains on her shoulders: the loss of her husband and son.
