Per accrescere l'interesse per il nuovo film di Sylvester Stallone, The Expendables, la Lionsgate debutterà ogni settimana su Apple con un dietro le quinte sul film, fino alla data di uscita della pellicola. La prima featurette è incentrata sulla scena degli ostaggi, di cui è uscita una red band clip (vietata ai minori di 14 anni) ambientata su una nave, in cui Ross (Stallone) e Christmas (Jason Statham) discutono su cosa sia più veloce: un proiettile o un coltello per uccidere i loro avversari. In questo dietro le quinte si vede Stallone mentre dirige la scena e le interviste ad alcuni membri della troupe e al giornalista di AICN Harry Knowles presente sul set.
Nel frattempo sono uscite delle nuove immagini del film, un nuovo trailer di sessanta secondi, che alza decisamente il calibro rispetto al precedente che non mostrava alcuna scena del film.
The Expendables uscirà nei cinema americani il 13 agosto.
